Richard Guy has been the Senior Pastor of our church since 2003 having been in full-time ministry for over 20 years. He has held positions as a youth pastor and associate pastor with experience in preaching, leadership, worship and church administration.
He has a background in Agricultural Production and has also been involved in business. He has served in churches in Inverell and Brisbane, before relocating to Hobart.
Richard is committed to seeing the church rise up to its potential and for people to be equipped and released into the plan God has for them.
Richard also serves on the National Leadership Team of the Apostolic Church Australia. Richard is married to Kylie; they have two children, Jayne and Nathan.

Mark Ireland has been in fulltime ministry for 16 years and has been a credentialed minister for the past 14 years.
He has a background in carpentry and building construction and has served at churches in both Adelaide and Brisbane before coming to Tasmania. He has also served as a State Youth Director in South Australia and Queensland for a total of 10 years.
In addition to his role as Associate Pastor his portfolio includes preaching, leadership development and oversees several of our Ministry Areas. Mark has a passion to see people released into the destiny that God has for them.
Mark is married to Andrea; they have two daughters, Hannah and Mikayla.

Mike Townsend has been a credentialed minister for the past 16 years. 10 of those have been in full time ministry.
Mike is a 5th generation Tasmanian and currently runs a landscaping business. He also has a background in agriculture, has served on the Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association Financial Executive, Tas Industrial Association Executive, and in the TFG&A Dairy Council.
Mike has served in churches at Smithton, Devonport and Sorell before relocating to Hobart. Mike's responsibilities include overseeing the welcoming and assimilation of new people and pastoral care within the church. He also trains and equips people to play an effective role in these areas.
Mike has been happily married to Vonda for 32 years and has 3 children, Sarah (married to Robert), Anita (married to Adam) and Andrew, and have 2 beautiful grandchildren, Liam and Imogen.

Bec Cuthbertson has been involved in youth ministry for 11 years. She has completed a ministry internship and has a Certificate IV in Christian Ministry, a traineeship through Gloria Jeans and has a Cert III in retail operations. Bec has a passion to train, equip and release a generation into all that God has for them. |

Matt & Angela Yost

Mathew and Angela Yost are the children’s workers at the Way Christian Church.
Both Matt and Ang graduated with Bachelor of Education degrees in 2005. Since then, Matt has taught from kindergarten to grade ten across a variety of subjects, and Ang taught Kindergarten, early learning and infant Indonesian before taking some time off to raise their gorgeous daughter Rebekah. Both are also fully qualified in childcare and have worked in this field for a number of years.
